Woolen fabrics often contain nylon for reinforcement, but this product is made using only Super 100 wool spun yarn, and is brushed after weaving. All production from weaving onwards is done in Oshu. It is inspired by Japanese cotton-padded Hanten coats. The hem is not flared like a Western coat, and when you stand up the collar and tie the front, it looks like a kimono. There is enough room to wear a thick sweater under the coat, so it can be worn until mid-winter. You can also leave the front open to let air in, making it suitable for a longer season.
