High density hemp pants (grass dyed)
100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. The thread count is finer than the hemp fabric normally used, so it has a denser weave and a higher quality look. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes more familiar with the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool touch, which is a characteristic of hemp, continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in midsummer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . Belt loops are attached to withstand the weight of the garment itself and the weight of the items you carry, but the elastic waistband and string make it possible to wear it without a belt. The pattern is based on monpe and tatsuke. Although the rise is deep, it is easy to move around in because it ensures a certain amount of movement, and the steep taper from the knee to the hem can be adjusted by rolling up. The design is simple yet functional, so you can choose the size you like regardless of your body type. The waist cord is an original cord made in Uji, Kyoto , and all of the sewing, including the serger, is done using cotton thread.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. Since there is a possibility of color transfer, please refrain from using it with light-colored items at first, wash it with a neutral detergent, and dry it in the shade. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly.
