Layered bag (medium) (plant dyed)
The outer fabric is made from cotton grown by ethnic minorities in villages in northern Laos, hand-spun on a single spinning wheel, dyed with natural dyes, and hand-woven on a wooden loom about 80 cm wide. For details, please visit the website of our supplier, shoku . The raw cotton fibers are short, and the uneven texture created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving contains plenty of air, which, combined with the natural dye colors, naturally blends with the skin. It is very rare in modern times for the process from raw materials to fabric to be completed within a small community. The lining and inner fabric are made from Peruvian cotton typewriter fabric. Typewriter fabric is a flat weave fabric woven with high density using high-quality cotton yarn with long and thin fibers, and is named after the fact that it is so dense that letters can be typed on a typewriter, a printing machine. Since the fuzz has not been removed by gas burning, etc., there is a slight fuzziness at the beginning of use, but with continued use, the fuzz will fall off and the fabric will become flat and shiny.
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. Please avoid combining with light colors to avoid color transfer. When washing, use a neutral detergent and dry in the shade.
