Persimmon tannin is applied by hand to the cotton fabric. The viscous jam-like persimmon tannin gives the bag a leather-like texture. Cracks will appear with use, which will lead to changes in the texture and flavor. Any areas where the persimmon tannin has peeled off can be repaired. The bag is large enough to store items of about A4 size, has a gusset at the bottom, and has a firm fabric, so it can stand on its own even when filled with items. The handle continues from the opening, reinforcing the opening. The handle and opening have a core in them to increase their strength. It can also be carried like a clutch bag by putting the handle over your arm.
