Roughly-woven hemp double-azuma bag, small (red iron oxide dye)
This fabric is made in Enshu using 100% hemp yarn produced by Italian manufacturer Linificio for the warp and weft threads, and is densely woven. After weaving, the fabric is air tumbled at high temperature and pressure to knead and loosen the fibers, resulting in a natural surface and fluffy finish. Hemp is a strong fiber, but as it ages it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, and you can enjoy watching it change from hemp to a cotton-like texture. For the history of hemp cloth, see the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Linen Cloth Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, see Boeken 's article.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
