Roughly-woven hemp double-coloured bag, small (plant-dyed)
This fabric is made from 100% hemp yarn produced by Italian manufacturer Linificio, and woven at high density in Enshu. After weaving, the fabric is air tumbled at high temperature and pressure to knead and loosen the fibres, resulting in a natural surface and fluffy finish. Hemp is a strong fibre, but as it ages, it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. For the history of hemp cloth, see Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, see Boken 's article. This bag was inspired by the Japanese way of doing things and the spirituality of "tying" and "wrapping," which have been naturally passed down since ancient times. It has a unique design of two connected Azuma bags, and by turning one inside out, the bag becomes double-layered, allowing you to use it separately on the inside and outside. By changing the way you tie it, the range of uses becomes wider, and the length can be adjusted so that most people can wear it at a comfortable length.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fibre lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Enjoy the unevenness of the plant dye and the changes that occur over time. To prevent colour transfer, avoid using with light-coloured items, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Sweat and light may cause discolouration, so please handle with care and store in places exposed to sunlight or fluorescent lights for long periods of time. (Walnut (dark), mugwort (dark), horse chestnut (dark), Persimmon tannin x ink, Indigo x turmeric x ink)
*Dyed with natural indigo. The colour will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of colour transfer, avoid using with light-coloured items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Each item has a slightly different colour and size. (Indigo (dark))
*Enjoy the unevenness of plant dyes and how they change over time. To prevent colour transfer due to friction, avoid using with light-coloured items, wash separately with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Sweat and sunlight can cause discolouration, so please store and handle with care. (Persimmon tannin x red iron oxide)
