Smooth Hanten Coat
The fabric is a beaver material with a cashmere blend woven in Oshu, Aichi Prefecture. It is soft and shiny because of the high cashmere content. All production from weaving to weaving is done in Oshu. It is inspired by Japanese cotton-padded hanten coats. The hem is not flared like a Western coat, and when you stand up the collar and tie the front, it looks like a kimono. The double-layered collar and sleeves make it warm, and there is enough room to wear a thick sweater under the coat, so it can be worn until mid-winter. You can also leave the front open to let air in, making it suitable for a longer season. There are no buttons or other fasteners, but you can fasten it with your own pins or belt if necessary.
