Smooth Hanten Long Coat
The fabric is a beaver material with a cashmere blend woven in Oshu, Aichi Prefecture. Because it contains a high proportion of cashmere, it is soft and shiny. After weaving, the entire product is produced in Oshu.
It is inspired by the Japanese cotton-padded Hanten coat. The hem is not flared like a Western coat, and when the collar is raised and the front is closed, it looks like a kimono. The double-layered collar and sleeves make it warm, and there is enough room to wear a thick sweater underneath the coat, so it can be worn all the way through winter. You can also leave the front open to let air in, making it suitable for a longer season. There are no buttons or other fastenings, but you can fasten it with your own pins or belt if necessary.
