CT-22
Tanzen Court 2
This padded coat is based on the "Tanzen" cold weather kimono, and is sewn in a workshop in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka . The outer fabric is made of high-density fabric from Hamamatsu, with a cotton warp and wool weft. The lining is also made of high-density cotton fabric, and the cotton inside is sandwiched between the fabric, creating a layer of air, making it warm enough to withstand the middle of winter. Unlike Western clothing, it does not go through a pattern-making process, and is made just by following the measurements, just like Japanese clothing, which is made up of mostly straight lines. The cuffs, collar, hem, and padding are all hand-sewn. A separate waist string is included. A shorter length version, CT-05, is also available.
*When washing, please use a laundry net and neutral detergent, wash by hand in lukewarm water at 30°C, or use the cleaning cycle of the washing machine, spin it for a short time, and then lay it flat to dry naturally. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care and the stuffing.
