Strong twisted hemp cotton coat (plant dyed)
Takashima Chijimi, which is produced in Takashima, Shiga Prefecture, is made using a unique method that involves strongly twisting the weft threads of natural fibers and applying a unique process to fix the texture. This fabric is based on traditional Takashima Chijimi, but uses hemp threads for the warp and organic cotton threads for the weft, achieving greater strength and comfort. The texture and stretchiness created by the twisted threads, rather than the stretch caused by synthetic fibers, will not be lost even with long-term wear. It does not cling to the skin, so it is very cool and can be worn for a long time. The design uses a linear pattern and has a flat structure. The gently sloping shoulders naturally fit the body shape of many people, and the relaxed silhouette is conscious of the space between the body. There are pockets on both sides, and the buttons are made of freshwater shell.
