OC Garabo Big Coat (Plant Dyed)
The original fabric is made by weaving a mountain-shaped twill pattern on a Schonherr loom using cotton mixed with organic cotton waste, spun with a gara spinning machine as the weft, and silk spun pongee threads made by re-spinning waste cocoons and other parts that cannot be used for silk thread as the warp. The knotty texture of the yarn made by gara spinning, combined with the unique softness of the Schonherr loom woven at a slow speed, creates a texture that is almost like hand-woven fabric. Taking advantage of the characteristics of the fabric, this coat has a loose silhouette that can be worn reversibly. In terms of design, the front side has been cut off at the seams and has a tassel-like finish. The back side has a simple finish with no tassel-like finish. The silk thread stands out by dyeing it in a dark color, creating a unique look. In addition, the color changes depending on the collar, cuffs, placket, and hem, which are made with the fabric reversed, allowing you to enjoy a variety of looks.
*The edges of the fabric are left uncut. The edges will come undone with each use, but if this bothers you, you can cut them off with scissors. If you have any questions about how to dispose of the fabric, please contact us.
*Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Walnut)
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As this is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Indigo, Indigo x Walnut)
