Flax and ramie silk coat
The warp threads are made from a domestically spun blend of two types of hemp, linen and ramie, and the weft threads are made from an original fabric made from silk. The characteristic softness of flax is reduced by blending it with ramie, and the silk weft threads make the fabric feel soft against the skin and produce neps, giving it a worn-in feel right from the start. Please refer to Boeken's article for more details on the differences between flax, ramie, and hemp.
This coat features a flat pattern design with most of its parts made up of straight lines. It has a loose silhouette with continuous gussets under the sleeves, making it easy to wear regardless of what you're wearing underneath. The piping tape on the back is made of organic cotton, and the buttons are nut buttons, which have a low environmental impact.
