Flax and ramie silk coat
The warp threads are made of a domestically spun blend of two types of hemp, linen and ramie, and the weft threads are made of silk, making for an original fabric. The unique sagging feel of flax is reduced by blending it with ramie, and the weft threads are made of silk, making the fabric soft against the skin and creating neps, giving it a worn-in feel right from the start. For more details on the differences between flax, ramie, and hemp, please refer to Boken's article.
This coat features a flat pattern design with most of the parts made up of straight lines. The sleeves have a continuous gusset and an overall loose silhouette, so you can wear it regardless of what you wear underneath. The piping tape on the back is made of organic cotton, and the buttons are nut buttons that have a low environmental impact.
