Collar silk yarn dyed hand-woven coat
This product uses Eri silk fabric, which is hand-spun and hand-woven in India. Eri silk is a type of wild silk found in northern India, and the material has a wild texture and excellent moisture-regulating properties. Its strength and suppleness make it wrinkle-resistant and suitable for year-round wear.
This is a planar coat that distances itself from the context of Western clothing, with a structure designed so that folded fabric becomes the garment itself._ The silhouette is loose, constructed mostly from straight lines, with added gussets under the sleeves, allowing it to be worn regardless of body type or what is layered underneath._ The edges of the front, collar, and cuffs utilize fabric selvages, giving it a light and airy feel._ Reinforcing stitching with white thread and added interfacing at the button and buttonhole areas highlight the handmade details._ Shell buttons are used.
