Wool Hanten Blouson
We use mossa (a fabric made by brushing and sorting woolen fabric after shrinking it) made from Australian lamb's wool and Super 100 material. It does not contain any synthetic fibers such as nylon for reinforcement, so it has a very soft texture and does not develop hard pilling like synthetic fiber blends, even when worn over time.
The thick collar and straight body are based on Japanese cotton-padded Hanten. The sleeves are an extension of the sloping shoulders, and a modified split raglan sleeve is used to ensure sufficient movement. The collar can be stood up, and when the front is overlapped, the front end jumps up and becomes shorter, creating a kimono-like fit. The double collar is warm, and there is enough room to wear a thick sweater, so it can be worn until the middle of winter. It has snap buttons.
