Triple-woven cotton, silk, wool and linen jacket
The original triple-layered fabric is made with cotton for the warp and wool, cotton linen, and silk for the weft. The three layers of fabric are held together with water-soluble binding threads, so they are sewn together as one piece of fabric as normal, but after completion the binding threads are dissolved in water to separate the three pieces of different materials. The outer layer is made of warm wool, the inner layer that touches the skin is made of silk, and the middle layer is made of cotton linen, which is easy to handle. This combination makes the most of the functionality of each material.
The collar is cut in one piece, and there are almost no seams except for the raglan sleeve seams, so it is designed to look like the fabric is worn as is. All seams are finished with a merrow stitch, so it can be worn reversibly. The inner fabric can be tied with a string, or the outer fabric can be worn like a cape, allowing the wearer to arrange it however they like. This is a special order item from Motokoan.
