Nashi Silk Long Jacket (Plant)
Nasi is a part of the silk that Indian wild silkworms, or tasar silkworms, produce when they hang from a tree. This original fabric is woven in a plain weave using thread spun from nasi at the only silk spun factory in Japan in Shiga, and unrefined fine-count raw silk as the warp. The off-white color is an undyed color. Although it is not used here, please refer to the article by Maki Textile Studio, which provides detailed information about hand-spun nasi thread in India.
*Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Lac, Asen, Logwood)
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As this is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Indigo)
