Haori jacket
The warp threads of the fabric are made of strong cotton threads used for canvas, and the weft threads are made of silk spun pongee threads made by re-spinning waste cocoons and other parts of silk that cannot be used for silk thread making. This is an original material woven in a high density twill weave using an old-fashioned shuttle loom used for weaving canvas. Like denim, the surface has the strong cotton warp threads, and the back has the soft silk spun pongee threads, making it a functional material. A big jacket with plenty of room for the body. The fabric is used to its full width, folded and sewn like origami, so there is almost no leftover fabric. The cuffs and hem of the sleeves and the collar are made of a single piece of fabric, making it a very flat structure, and like a kimono, it naturally fits most body types. Comes with a drawstring.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fibre lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with Kishu Binchotan charcoal and pigments, there is a natural unevenness. To avoid colour transfer, avoid combining with light-coloured items and always wash separately. Colour transfer will subside with use. Since it is product dyed, the colour and size of each item will vary slightly. (Charcoal)
*Dyed in dark colours. To avoid colour transfer, please avoid mixing with light colours. To prevent colour fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the colour and size of each item may vary slightly. (Dark navy blue/dark black)
