IROIRO kala cotton long haori
The fabric used is made by IROIRO zero waste in Jaipur, India, from kala cotton waste that has been respun and dyed with local plants. The twill weave, which is not very common in Indian hand weaving, is woven by artisans to create a soft texture. The edge of the fabric is used for the collar, which is cut from the body, and all the sewing is done with a scalloped finish using cotton thread, resulting in a light tailoring. The look changes dramatically when the sleeves are rolled up, and it can also be worn casually with the collar unbuttoned. There are pockets on both sides and a separate waist string.
*Please note that clear weave patterns and slight weaving errors are characteristics of the fabric.
