Cannabis dress
The outer fabric is made of 100% hemp thread for the warp and weft. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes more familiar with the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Institute of Modern Linen Cloth , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . The lining and edges are made of khadi, which is hand-spun and hand-woven in West Bengal, India for both the warp and weft. For details on the hand-spinning process, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning and the blog of CALICO , the supplier. The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving the relatively short-fiber desi cotton gives it a texture like another skin, and is beautiful even when light is shined through it. The occasional random borders are created by fine changes in the yarn lots used by hand, and are also one of the characteristics. The design is a reversible dress with dolman sleeves. The sleeves have no seams, giving it a simple look, and the pattern is designed to follow the silhouette of the wearer, creating a beautiful line. The placket has a long string, so you can wear it however you like by adjusting the way you tie it. The side has a long slit, making it easy to move around in even though it is long. There is a pocket on the surface.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with Kishu Binchotan charcoal and pigments, there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light-colored items and always wash separately. Color transfer will subside with use. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Charcoal)
*Dyed in dark colors. To avoid color transfer, please avoid mixing with light colors. To prevent color fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Dark navy/black)
