JK-38
Padded sashiko jacket
The warp thread is cotton, and the front, middle, and back are each woven with different weft threads, creating an original triple-layered fabric. The wool on the front is woven finely and densely to prevent wind from entering, while the silk spun pongee thread on the back absorbs moisture well and feels soft against the skin. The spongy wool single thread on the middle is not woven with the warp thread, but is left as it is, allowing the yarn to fully swell and act as a filling. This product is made only from natural fibers, and aims to provide cold protection and comfort that is comparable to synthetic filling fabrics. In addition, the sashiko parts visible from the front are woven, but the thread used here is silk spun pongee thread to create a unique look. The design is functional while adopting a flat pattern. The front body is firmly overlapped to prevent wind from entering, and the gently raised collar is roomy, assuming that a stole or other item will be used according to preference. The sleeves are functional, ensuring sufficient movement. There is a patch pocket on the front. The CT-18 is also available in a longer length.
