Twill hemp jacket
The warp and weft threads are made of 100% hemp yarn produced by the Italian manufacturer Linificio. Although it is a thick fabric, it is woven in a twill weave, so it is characterized by its tight weave and suppleness. Hemp is a strong fiber, but as it ages it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in midsummer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Cloth Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . This jacket is designed to resemble modern farm work clothes. The collar and sleeves are stitched to combine strength and design. The sleeves are tapered toward the cuffs so that they do not get in the way when working. In addition, the back is gusseted to ensure movement and functionality. Snap buttons are attached to the front and sleeves so that the buttons can be opened even if one hand is occupied.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed in dark colors. Please avoid mixing with light colors to avoid color transfer. To prevent color fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Dark navy, black ink, black)
