Twill weave hemp flat blouson (mud dyed)
The warp and weft threads are made of 100% hemp yarn produced by the Italian manufacturer Linificio. Although it is a thick fabric, it is woven in a twill weave, so it is characterized by its tight weave and suppleness. Hemp is a strong fiber, but as it ages it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in midsummer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Cloth Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . Almost all parts have a linear pattern, and the structure is very flat, so it naturally fits most body types like a kimono. The front placket and hem are usually sewn with separate parts, but they are made of one piece, giving it a simple design. The buttons are all hand-sewn using tachi shells.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with sharinbai and mordanted with mud. Avoid using with light-colored items, wash alone with neutral detergent and dry in the shade. Threads, stiffness, and mud particles that come out during washing will gradually settle. Because this is a product dye, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
