Ripple hemp jacket (grass-dyed)
The original hemp fabric is made of twill weave, and has a characteristic fine wave-like appearance. It gradually becomes familiar with the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool touch, which is a characteristic of hemp, continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken . Taking advantage of the functionality of the hemp material, the design is roomy and conscious of the space between the body. The cuffs can be adjusted to your preference by using buttons. The buttons are made of wood, and everything from the fabric to the sewing thread is made of natural fibers. (Only the button thread uses nylon core thread (thread with nylon only in the center and cotton covering on the outside) for strength.)
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. Since there is a possibility of color transfer, please refrain from using it with light-colored items at first, wash it with a neutral detergent, and dry it in the shade. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly.
