OC hemp denim jacket
The original denim fabric, woven in Ibara, Okayama Prefecture, uses organic cotton with rope dyed warp threads, indigo dyed surface only, leaving the core white, and thick hemp weft threads. The more you wear it, the more the indigo on the surface fades, and the white core becomes visible, allowing you to enjoy the long-term changes that occur over time. Repeated wearing and washing will loosen the threads and increase their flexibility, and the hemp threads that touch the skin will provide a cool and supple feel.
While keeping in mind the context of workwear, we have redefined the denim jacket as an everyday tool, rather than following the existing concept of a denim jacket as clothing. In addition to the pocket placement that takes convenience into consideration, we have adopted a yoke sleeve pattern that ensures a range of motion around the arms, with functionality and durability in mind. We have adopted buffalo horn buttons instead of metal parts.
