Flax and silk shirt jacket
The warp threads are made of a domestically spun blend of two types of hemp, linen and ramie, and the weft threads are made of silk, making for an original fabric. The unique sagging feel of flax is reduced by blending it with ramie, and the weft threads are made of silk, making the fabric soft against the skin and creating neps, giving it a worn-in feel right from the start. For more details on the differences between flax, ramie, and hemp, please refer to Boken's article.
It was designed with a size and silhouette that can be used as both a shirt and a jacket. The vertical pockets are positioned and deep enough to allow easy access to items even when layered over an outer garment, and the overall structure is lean, making it convenient and durable enough for everyday use. The piping tape is made of organic cotton, and the buttons are nut buttons that have a low environmental impact.
