Hemp Haori High Density (Red ochre dye)
100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. As it is a finer count than normal hemp fabric, it has a denser weave and is of higher quality. Hemp is a strong fiber, but as it ages it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp continues even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For the history of hemp cloth, see the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, see Boken's article . This big-silhouette jacket features a wide collar that continues from the body and a reversible design. The wide AH gives this jacket a strong windbreaker-like element. The front seam can be made deep, so if you sew it tightly and tie the string, it will have considerable windproof performance. This design is not rooted in a specific ethnic design, but if you sew it deep and tighten the waist string, it will give the impression of a Bhutanese go or a Mongolian deel. It has pockets on both sides and a separate waist string.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Natural pigments are fixed with natural rubber, so there is a natural unevenness. To avoid color transfer, avoid combining with light colors and be sure to wash it separately from other items the first 1-2 times. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
