KN-01
Belly warmer sweater
The yarn is made from ultra-fine merino wool with an average fineness of 15.5 microns from Uruguay in South America. It is smooth yet bulky, with a texture similar to cashmere, and by using two strands of yarn, it is a mid-gauge knit with moderate volume. The raw material is spun by Fukaki Keori, a spinning factory in Senshu, Osaka. The knitting factory is located in Katsurao Village, Fukushima, and Kaneizumi Knit, which has its headquarters and factory in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, was established using the national subsidy for the creation of employment companies that support self-reliance and return to the home country. Please refer to the article on Hobonichi for details. It is made using a machine that knits directly from the yarn in a whole garment state. The whole garment is characterized by the lack of seam allowances, and there are many structural constraints, so the lack of seams can result in a flat finish, but on the contrary, this is a flat sweater that makes use of that characteristic. The shoulder slope is horizontal, and the rest of the neckline is made of straight lines. The ribs on the cuffs and hem of the KN-02 are long. You can wear it as is, crumpled up, or folded inside and out. If the ribs stretch, they will return to their original shape if you run them through a steam iron or in water.
*Due to the nature of the yarn, pilling may occur, but do not pull it out. Instead, brush or remove it with small scissors. You can also use a pill remover after reading the instructions carefully. Dry cleaning is possible, but if you are washing it at home, place it in a laundry bag and wash it in the hand wash mode, or gently wash it by hand. In that case, be sure to use water below 30°C and a neutral detergent for delicates.
