Linen Silk Sweater
By twisting seemingly opposing materials, linen, which is dry and moderately robust, and silk spun pongee thread, which is soft while retaining the inherent functionality of the material, the characteristics of both are brought out. The yarn is further brushed to achieve an even softer feel. The finished product is not that thick, but it has a brushed feel and volume, making it suitable for year-round wear. The knot-like neps and knots are characteristics of the material itself. The shape is knitted in a whole garment jersey knit, with the reverse side turned to the front to give it a smooth texture. The body is also knitted in a circular concentric pattern. The design is simple, but the concentric pattern creates a radial pattern, giving it a knit-like design.
