Uruguay Slub NM Wool Sweater
Non-mulesing wool from Uruguay in South America is spun into thick slub yarn and finished with rib knitting throughout, except for the rib section. The bulkiness of the slub yarn gives the garment a rough look but a light volume. The raw materials used are not mulesed (the removal of skin and flesh without anesthesia to prevent disease-causing parasites from attaching to the creases of the sheep's buttocks), reducing the burden on the sheep.
The silhouette has a generous width, taking advantage of the three-dimensional volume that is unique to rib knitting. It can be worn as an inner layer, or as an outer layer with a thick layer underneath without feeling cramped, making it a versatile piece for fall and winter outfits. It is designed with functionality in mind as an everyday item.
