Alpaca knit stole (plant dyed)
This fabric uses ultra-fine alpaca yarn spun from the finest baby alpaca from Peru. As the yarn is too thin to knit, it is knitted together with water-soluble yarn and then run through water to dissolve the water-soluble yarn, but it is still very difficult to knit, so it is a fabric that can only be made by a limited number of craftsmen. Using single-twist yarn and taking advantage of the fabric's diagonal characteristics, the knitted and purl sides are alternated to create a natural uneven texture. It is also light as air and smooth to the touch.
In addition to using it as a regular scarf, you can also use it as a haori jacket by tying the ends together. It is very stretchy, so you can change the shape to suit your needs.
