Soft hemp dress (dark plant dye)
The fabric is similar in thickness to standard hemp fabric, but the weave density is slightly tighter, and after weaving, the fabric is processed at a finishing factory in Shiga, softening the firmness that is unique to hemp. It is characterised by the fact that it has the softness that normal plain weave hemp gets from long-term wear. This oversized dress has a firm width and uses a flat pattern like a kimono, and the collar design is based on the kimono's matching. There is a gusset at the side to ensure moderate movement. There are side slits at the hem and pockets at the sides. A separate waist string is also included.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fibre lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Enjoy the unevenness of the plant dye and the changes that occur over time. To prevent colour transfer, avoid using with light-coloured items, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Sweat and light may cause discolouration, so please handle with care and store in places exposed to sunlight or fluorescent lights for long periods of time. *Dyed with natural indigo. The colour will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of colour transfer, avoid using with light-coloured items at first, wash with neutral detergent, and dry in the shade.
