Hemp dress, high density (grass dyed)
100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. The thread is finer than regular hemp fabric, giving it a denser weave and a finer appearance. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton-like. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp persists even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, see the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, see Boeken's article .
This dress is designed based on an oversized pullover. By leaving a lot of space between the body and the fabric, it feels free as if you are not wearing it. In addition, the split raglan sleeves ensure a moderate amount of movement, and the slits prevent it from sticking to the skin. The pockets are flat type, so they do not affect the body. A separate waist string is included.
