Linen cotton shorts
The fabric is made of high-density cotton warp and hemp weft, woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom . Shuttle looms are slower than modern looms, but they can weave each thread firmly. This gives the fabric a unique firmness that means it doesn't cling to your skin, is easy to roll up, and is comfortable to wear even in midsummer. The crotch, inner side, and outer side are all folded and sewn with great care to increase strength. The waist string is an original cord made in Uji, Kyoto , and the lining of the pockets other than the light-colored ones is hand-blocked from India .
