Linen and cotton long
The fabric is made of high-density cotton warp and hemp weft, woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom . Shuttle looms are slower than modern looms, but they are able to weave each weave tightly. This gives the fabric a unique firmness that doesn't cling to the skin, is easy to roll up, and is comfortable to wear even in midsummer.
The silhouette is based on monpe and tatsuke, with a gentle taper towards the hem, and by rolling up the hem after tucking it in, you can create a strong taper. The strength is increased by laboriously folding and sewing the inseam, inner side, and outer side. The waist string is an original cord made in Uji, Kyoto , and the lining of the pockets other than the light colors is hand-blocked from India .
