Linen and cotton high density long pants
This fabric is woven in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, using an old-fashioned shuttle loom, with a high-density warp thread of cotton and a weft thread of linen. Although shuttle looms are slower than modern looms, the careful weft threading gives the fabric a firm, crisp feel. This weaving technique brings out the smooth texture of the linen and the softness of the cotton, resulting in a fabric that is both paper-like and lightweight yet strong. This firmness prevents the fabric from clinging to the skin, making it comfortable to wear even in the height of summer.
These wide, straight pants have a firm fit. They feature thick 20-count stitching, wide belt loops, and a large hem facing, giving them a rugged look. Instead of patch pockets, the back features a single-welt pocket, and the waist cord is an original cord made in Uji, Kyoto.
