Fleece hemp pants
This original fabric is woven in Yamashina, Kyoto, using thick hemp threads for both the warp and weft, and then undergoes a napping process on the surface. The napping creates a softness and texture that is more comfortable than typical hemp fabrics, resulting in a finish that feels like it blends seamlessly with the skin. After dyeing, the light reflects intricately off the fuzzy surface, creating depth and dimension in the color. Hemp is a very strong fiber, yet it becomes even more supple with repeated wear, developing a unique texture the longer it is used. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, director of the Modern Hemp Cloth Research Institute. For details on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by BOKEN.
These are wide-leg pants that gently taper towards the hem._ Two large front tucks add volume._ They are not clingy and maintain a comfortable distance from the body, suitable for various body types._ The relatively short length makes them surprisingly easy to style and incorporate into a variety of looks, despite their volume._ The waist can also be adjusted with the hemp cord binding on the inside of the belt.
