Hemp Wide High Density (Plant Dyed)
100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. It is a finer count than regular hemp fabric, so it has a denser weave and a higher quality look. Hemp is a strong fibre, but it gradually becomes more comfortable against the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton-like. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp remains even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, please see the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please see the article by Boeken .
The pants are wide and roomy, but the silhouette itself is straight. They are very lightweight and have belt loops to support the weight in your pockets. The elastic waistband and inner drawstring allow you to wear them without a belt.
