This material is made with fine, tightly twisted cotton yarns woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom for the warp and weft. It is difficult to weave tightly twisted yarns for the warp even by machine, so it is woven by hand by craftsmen with great care. Although it looks flat, it has a double weave with a moderate firmness that lasts for a long time. The crotch is gusseted to ensure freedom of movement, while the tapered legs are as strong as possible, creating a silhouette that looks like a pair of leggings attached to the pants. Compared to other pants, these pants feature deep front and back pockets, and the waist string is made of organic cotton.
