High density hemp pants (grass dyed)
PT-24DC Hemp Pants High density (grass dyed) 100% hemp thread is used for the warp and weft. The thread count is finer than the hemp fabric normally used, so it has a denser weave and a higher quality look. Hemp is a strong fiber, but it gradually becomes more familiar with the skin over time, and you can enjoy the change in texture from hemp to cotton. The cool feel that is characteristic of hemp remains even after repeated washing, making it comfortable to wear even in the middle of summer. For more information on the history of hemp cloth, please refer to the article by Shinichiro Yoshida, Director of the Modern Linen Research Institute , and for more information on the differences between hemp, ramie, and flax, please refer to the article by Boken .
The pattern is based on monpe and tatsuke. Although the rise is deep, it is easy to move around in as it allows for freedom of movement, and the steep taper from the knee to the hem can be adjusted by rolling up the pants. The design is simple yet functional, so you can choose the size that suits you best regardless of your body type. The waist string is an original cord made in Uji, Kyoto , and all the sewing, including the overlock sewing, is done using cotton thread.
*There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fiber lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. Since there is a possibility of color transfer, please refrain from using it with light-colored items at first, wash it with a neutral detergent, and dry it in the shade. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly.
