This fabric is based on traditional Takashima Chijimi, but uses hemp threads for the warp and organic cotton threads for the weft, achieving higher strength and comfort. The texture and stretchiness created by the twisted threads, rather than the stretch caused by synthetic fibres, will not be lost even after long-term wear. It does not cling to the skin, so it is very cool and can be worn for a long time. It has belt loops to withstand the weight of your own weight and the weight of your belongings, but it can be worn without a belt with an elastic waistband and string. The pattern is based on monpe and tatsuke. Although the rise is deep, it is easy to move around in because it ensures a certain amount of movement, and the steep taper from the knee to the hem can be adjusted by rolling up.
