Khadi denim pants
We use khadi made by hand-spinning and hand-weaving both the warp and weft in West Bengal, India. For more information on hand-spinning, please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of our supplier, CALICO . The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving relatively short-fiber desi cotton gives it a texture like a second skin. The occasional random border is created by the small changes in the yarn lot used by handwork, and is also one of the features. The design is like a monpe with a wide thigh width and tapered hem. The overall silhouette is moderately relaxed, but the elastic hem tightens the impression. This allows you to move comfortably without hindering your leg movements. In addition, reinforcing stitching around the pocket opening and reinforcing cloth under the crotch allow you to wear it for a longer period of time.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Dyed in dark colors. Please avoid mixing with light colors to avoid color transfer. To prevent color fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Dark navy, black ink, black)
