Highly twisted hemp cotton long pants

Takashima Chijimi, which is produced in Takashima, Shiga Prefecture, is made using a unique method that involves strongly twisting the weft threads of natural fibers and applying a unique process to fix the texture. This fabric is based on traditional Takashima Chijimi, but uses hemp threads for the warp and organic cotton threads for the weft, achieving greater strength and comfort. The texture and stretchiness created by the twisted threads, rather than the stretch caused by synthetic fibers, will not be lost even with long-term wear. It does not cling to the skin, so it is very cool and can be worn for a long time. To express the overall volume, the pants have a large tuck design in the front and back like a hakama, giving it a sense of volume around the upper thighs. The waist is not elastic but opens at the front, and the waist is set slightly larger to accommodate different sizes, and can be adjusted with the included string or a belt you own.

Handling Instructions

*As this item uses strong twisted yarn, it may stretch when worn, but if you adjust the size after washing and hang it out to dry, it will return to its original size. Please consider the knots and unevenness of the yarn, which are unique to natural materials, as part of the fabric's appearance. Please be careful as pulling on the knots in the yarn may cause it to break. *Dyed in dark colors. Please avoid mixing with light colors to avoid color transfer. To prevent color fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Dark navy, black ink, black)
