Padded sashiko woven pants
The warp thread is cotton, and the surface, middle, and back are each woven with different weft threads, creating an original triple-layered fabric. The wool on the surface is woven finely and densely to prevent wind from entering, while the silk spun pongee thread on the back absorbs moisture well and is soft to the touch. The spongy wool single thread on the middle is not woven with the warp thread, but is left as it is, allowing the yarn to fully swell and act as a filling. This is a design that aims to provide cold protection and comfort that is comparable to synthetic filling fabrics, using only natural fibers. In addition, the sashiko part that can be seen from the outside is expressed by weaving, but this thread is made of spun silk pongee thread to create a look. MITTAN's basic straight silhouette pants are combined with the classic filling sashiko weave fabric. The lining is made of cotton from the waist to above the knees, but the lining is intentionally designed to be short so that you can feel the texture of the silk part. To ensure long-lasting use, the pocket openings and hem are finished with piping to increase strength. The waist string is made of braided hemp cord.
