PT-92
Flax Ramie Wide
The fabric used was discontinued in the past, but was re-produced for this project. The warp and weft are made of a domestically spun blend of two types of hemp, linen and ramie, which gives the fabric a firm and moderate thickness. In addition, the unique sagging of flax is reduced by blending it with ramie. Repeated wear will give the fabric a texture similar to that of old cloth. For details on the differences between flax, ramie, and hemp, please refer to Boken's article .
The fabric is heavy, so it has belt loops to withstand its own weight, but it can be worn without a belt thanks to the elastic waistband and organic cotton string on the inside. The pattern is based on PT-69 , with a straight silhouette with a wider hem and slightly larger back pockets. In addition, by adjusting the inner layer, it can be worn all year round.
