PT-94
Flax Ramie Big
The fabric used was discontinued in the past but has been re-produced for this project. A domestically spun blend of two types of hemp, linen and ramie, is used for the warp and weft, resulting in a crisp feel and just the right thickness. Additionally, the characteristic sagging of flax is reduced by blending it with ramie. With repeated wear, the fabric will take on a texture reminiscent of old cloth. Please refer to Boeken's article for a detailed explanation of the differences between flax, ramie, and hemp.
The fabric is heavy, so it has belt loops to withstand its own weight, but the elastic waistband and organic cotton drawstring inside mean it can be worn without a belt. The pattern is based on PT-69 , and it has a fairly oversized silhouette. By adjusting the inner layer, it can be worn all year round.
