Weft Cadistole (Takarajima Dyeing)
SC-02TS Weft Caddi Stole (Takarajima Senko) This fabric is hand-woven in West Bengal, India, with hand-spun weft threads mixed with the warp threads of spun yarn. (Since only the weft thread is hand-spun, it is called weft khadi.) Please refer to the link to the outer fabric spinning section and the blog of CALICO , the supplier, for details on the hand-spinning process. The unevenness created by hand-spinning and hand-weaving the relatively short-fiber desi cotton gives the fabric a texture like another skin, and is characterized by its beauty even when lit through the light.
*Because we use hand-woven fabric, there are individual differences in size and texture. Please consider the weaving habits, knots in the thread, and pilling as part of the expression. As it is weaker than machine-woven fabric, please avoid excessive strain. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about care.
*Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, please refrain from using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. Since it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
