The weft thread is made of merino wool from Uruguay, South America, the same as KN-02 , and the warp thread is made of cotton yarn spun in China from American cotton. This original fabric expresses a kasuri-like pattern on the front and back of the twill weave. Just like the front and back of denim have different colors, the pattern is created by switching between the side where the warp threads are more visible and the side where the weft threads are more visible. Although thin cotton threads are used for the warp threads, the wool that actually touches the skin is as fine as cashmere, so it is very soft and puts almost no strain on the skin. The support of the cotton threads in the warp threads makes it possible to weave more softly, and the weft threads and the weave themselves are both filled with enough air to maintain warmth. Unlike regular industrial products, each piece is cut and sewn after weaving, and then felted, giving each piece a different look. The width of the fabric is not constant depending on the place, so you can experience the natural process of wool shrinking. In addition to using it as a regular stole, it can also be worn over the shoulders.
