IROIRO Sashiori Mat
We ordered a MITTAN special color from iroiro zero waste in Jaipur, India, a splintered fabric. The black leftover fabric that would have been thrown away at the factory is used as the weft thread, and by weaving it alternately with regular cotton thread, a large ridged texture is expressed. This mat uses the above fabric across the entire width of the fabric. You can enjoy the texture of the fabric selvedge at the edge. As it is a large mat, it can be used for multiple purposes.
*As leftover fabric is reused, there will be large individual differences in color. Also, please note that weaving steps and slight weaving errors are characteristics of the fabric.
*Dyed in dark colors. Please avoid mixing with light colors to avoid color transfer. To prevent color fading, use a dry-cleaning detergent and dry in the shade. Due to post-production processing, the color and size of each item may vary slightly.
