Small silk drapery

This is an original fabric that was created with the image of a cloth that resonates visually and tactilely. The weft thread is silk noil made from reused silk waste and scraps, and the warp thread is made of a twisted mixture of silk noil and a silk and flax blend, giving the fabric a firm texture while retaining the softness of silk.

Fourteen different patterns, each with its own texture, let you enjoy a variety of sensations against the skin. The soft texture created by weaving on a slow-moving jacquard loom is another feature.

It can be used as a blanket, shawl, or stole, depending on the occasion. With continued use, the texture moves closer to that of a towel. Silk's natural moisture absorbency also makes it quick to absorb moisture and resistant to odour, for comfortable everyday use.

Handling Instructions

*When you first start using it, the pilling that is typical of silk spun tsumugi thread will fall off, but this will settle down with repeated use. *There are knots and unevenness in the threads that are unique to natural materials. This is because we place importance on texture and use raw materials with uneven fibre lengths, so please consider this as part of the look. Please be careful not to pull on the knots in the threads too hard, as this may cause the threads to break and create holes in the fabric.
