OC Garabo Rug (Dark Plant Dyed)
The original fabric is made by wefting cotton mixed with organic cotton waste, spun by a gara spinning machine, and warp threads made from silk spun by re-spinning waste cocoons and other parts that cannot be used for silk thread, and then weaving it on a Schonherr loom into a mountain-shaped twill weave pattern. The knotty texture of the yarn made by the gara spinning machine, combined with the softness unique to the slow weaving speed of the Schonherr loom, creates a texture that is almost like hand-woven fabric. This rug is made using the above fabric.
*The edges of the fabric are left uncut. The edges will come undone with each use, but if this bothers you, you can cut them off with scissors. If you have any questions about how to dispose of the fabric, please contact us.
*Dyed with dyes extracted from plants and insects, there is a natural unevenness. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using it with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As it is product dyed, the color and size of each item may vary slightly. (Walnut (dark))
*Dyed with natural indigo. The color will become lighter with repeated use. As there is a possibility of color transfer, avoid using with light-colored items at first, wash with a neutral detergent, and dry in the shade. As this is product dyed, the color and size of each item will vary slightly. (Indigo x Goldenrod (dark))
